This paper deals with the relationship of e-government with networked society and mobile networked society, distinguishes between e-government and deep e-government, governance and government, and poor governance, governance and good governance. It proposes the concept of the poor-good e-government continuum and takes note of emerging centralization-decentralization paradox in e-government.
